Sekisui House:  Two U.S. Voting Advisory Firms recommend to vote against Company Slate

Yomiuri Shimbun has learned that two U.S. voting advisory firms recommended that shareholders vote against Mr. Toshinori Abe, Chairman, and Mr. Shiro Inagaki, Vice Chairman at Sekisui House’s ordinary meeting of shareholders to be held on April 23, 2020.  The two firms cited as the reason the company’s governance weaknesses that were revealed in the land fraud incident in 2017 where the company was defrauded of 5.5 billion yen.
